Digital Prodigy® - Powerful Multi-Level
Mix-Effects System
Videotek's Digital Prodigy 16-input
serial digital production switcher builds on a proven intuitive design
well-received by broadcasters and industrial video producers alike. A
reliable industry standard video switching and effects system provides
multi-layer effects and look-ahead preview. Digital Prodigy can handle six
layers of video and multi-channel audio. We've added optional analog and
digital audio frames, starting with basic stereo analog through 16 channels
of embedded digital audio to 32 channels of AES/EBU digital audio. An
optional RS-422 serial port links Digital Prodigy to most popular editing
controllers and other intelligent devices. |

Digital Prodigy®, 16 inputs Factory shipped with 14 inputs: 9 SDI
inputs, 3 External Key inputs and 2 inputs (Cut and Fill) for DSK. The two
remaining inputs can be utilized for an additional DSK. Four of the factory
installed SDI inputs can be replaced with NTSC/PAL (composite), CAV
(component) or SDI w/Frame Capture inputs (see options below). 24 wipes and
100-events memory. Consists of the DPG-L frame, the RCU-DPG control panel
